Very few labels and box tops are being given to the Moose Lodge for the kids at Mooseheart. Please save your box tops and labels that specify they are for school and place them in the box at the Lodge or call Linda Best (406) 535-8442 after 1pm for more information. Old printer ink cartridges are also needed. Thanks!

WORDS FROM THE LADY MOOSE
My year as Senior Regent is coming to an end. Thanks to all who helped and supported me during this year. Special congratulations to the upcoming officers and chairmen for 2010-2011. Co-workers please greet them with smiles and offers of help. I will be on hand to help where I can.

Hello Everyone! Thank you for your vote of confidence. I will try to help the Lewistown Chapter become even better during my year as Senior Regent.
March and April have been very busy months for the Lewistown Chapter. Many thanks to the new members who are stepping up to the plate and helping with dinners and other family activities. Of course I thank those who are always there when needed; but it is especially good to see new members offering to help.
New members who attended the “New Member Get Together” on April 16 received a free dinner. If you are not greeted when you come to the Lodge it is probably because we don’t all know who you are. Attend one of these get togethers so we can meet you.
The Awards dinner/dance on April 17 was well attended with 64 persons present. Those who received awards were: Kathleen Alford – 30 years; Doris Stephens & Coralie Sciuchetti – 15 years; Kyle Carlisle, Stacie Sallee, Jane McGiboney & Ester Wormell – 10 years; Ann Leland, Sue Costello, Darla Reed and Bertha Roberts – 5 years. Thanks for so many good years of membership. More awards were available but the recipients were not present.
Men and women helped serve 116 at the breakfast to support the Special Olympics the morning of April 17. A great turn out. Many women made cookies and six co-workers were on hand to serve lunch to the Special Olympic participants, coaches, and families at Snowy Lanes on April 18. Remember that these are community service hours.
The Mother’s Day luncheon will be May 7 from 11 a.m. til 2 p.m. We will need lots of those wonderful salads that you co-workers put together. Please bring the salads the day before or early that morning. Help will also be needed. On May 8 the men will serve a Mothers Day dinner to us ladies at 6 p.m.. Be sure to bring your Mothers and friends to these events. Check the Calendar for other upcoming events and attend the meetings to give your input.
